Indore-based Highway Infrastructure Limited IPO Sees Strong Response on Day 1

The public issue of Indore based Highway Infrastructure Limited, which opened for subscription on August 5, 2025, witnessed a robust response across all investor categories, with 1,52,28,572 equity shares on offer.

By 12 PM (First two hours) on the first day, the IPO had garnered 14,17,00,004 bids from investors, translating into an overall subscription of over 9.3x. The Qualified Institutional Buyer (QIB) segment was subscribed 0.95x with bids for 22,28,571 shares. The Non-Institutional Investor (NII) segment saw an overwhelming response at 9.41x subscription, including 7.81x from Ultra High Net-Worth Individuals (UHNIs) for 37,14,286 shares and 12.62x from High Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) for 18,57,143 shares. The retail portion was subscribed 11.73x, receiving bids for 74,28,572 shares.

The IPO has received over 3,09,780 applications so far, excluding the anchor portion, which saw an allocation of INR 23.99 million for 3,34,856 equity shares to marquee institutions such as HDFC Bank Limited, ABANS Finance Private Limited, VPK Global Ventures Fund, and Sunrise Investment Opportunities Fund.

The issue remains open for subscription until August 7, 2025.

Several brokerage houses, including Anand Rathi and Shree Laxmi Shree, have issued positive coverage and recommended subscribing for the long term. The strong traction across QIBs, UHNIs, HNIs, and retail investors is a clear indication of market confidence in the company’s fundamentals and future growth prospects.
