The US CPI report revealed headline inflation rose
by 0.3% on a monthly basis
the largest increase in five months
bringing the annual rate up to 2.7% from 2.4% in May.
Money markets had priced in less than 50 bps
of easing by US fed, with investors pricing in over
43 bps of rate cuts towards the end of the year.
Following the June CPI report, President Donald Trump
