US Vice Chair Philip Jefferson commented that the
Fed's policy is well positioned to respond in a timely
way on a surprise drop or surge in inflation.
US Core PPI inflation is 3.1% YoY, down from 3.3%
UK Q1 GDP is expected to give a mixed print,
with QoQ growth forecast to tick up, but annualized
GDP to fall back slightly as a slump in domestic
economic activity falls to the tail end of the curve.
