US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that
US President Donald Trump will send letters to
some trading partners saying tariffs will boomerang
back to April 2 levels on August 1 if there is
no progress on the trade agreement.
The Reserve Bank of Australia is expected to
lower the central bank's cash rate target by a
quarter of a percentage point to 3.6% tomorrow.
Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries
and allies (OPEC+) agreed to hike their collective
crude production by 548000 barrels per day
US Nonfarm payrolls in the US rose by 147000 in June.
This reading came in better than the market expectation
for an increase of 110000 in this period, the
unemployment Rate declined to 4.1% from 4.2%
Money markets suggest that traders are pricing
in 50 bps of easing by US Fed toward the end of
the year, according to Prime Market Terminal data.
