Trade talks between the US and China are scheduled
to meet for a second day in London. US President
Donald Trump said that the talk "Should go very well"
On Wednesday, the US CPI is expected to rise
from 2.3% to 2.5% YoY, with core figures
projected to increase from 2.8% to 2.9% YoY
Money Markets suggest that traders are pricing
in 44.5 basis points of easing by US Fed
towards the end of the year, according to
Prime market terminal data.
The People's Bank of China bought Gold for the
Seventh straight month in May. This, in turn,
could contribute to the Gold Price.
A scarce economic docket in the US featured
the release of the New York Fed Survey of consumers
expectations, which showed that inflation expectations
for one, three and five year period edged lower.
