China and the United States announced
a 90 day pause in their trade war.
Both Coutries agreed to temporarily slash tariffs
with the US lowering duties on Chinese goods
to 30% from 145% and China reducing tariffs
on US goods to 10% from 125%
Fed Reserve's Adriana Kugler warned that
sustained tariffs would shift global supply chains
and complicate economic forecasting.
Ukraine-Russia peace talks will be held Thursday
in Istanbul. It appears that both Russian President
Vladimir Putin and Ukraine President
Volodymyr Zelenskyy will both be there.
US CPI data will land today as market keep an eye out for
signs of sharp inflation spikes due to US trade tariffs.
World Gold council revealed that the
People's Bank of China added
2 tonnes to its Gold reserves in April
National Bank of Poland Increased by 12 tonnes in April
Czech National Bankincreased its reserves by 2.5 tonnes
